Can I connect from a different network?
Not in the current preview. We’re building and testing the internet connection service now. We’ll update this page when it’s ready.
Does someone need to approve?
Yes. The device owner approves each connection. Android also asks for screen-sharing permission. Control requires an additional Android permission.
Is BetterDesk open source?
BetterDesk is being developed as an open-source project. The development repository is currently private; public source will follow.
